The Different Form Of Screw Compressor
So you are looking to purchase one or more screw compressors but are you completely sure which one to buy? Are you aware of the different types of this compressor? Well in this article I will be writing about the different forms of this type of compressor which I hope will help you when making your choice.
I have been a buyer of various compressors as well as the above including, industrial compressors, air compressors and portable air compressors for many years now due to the business sector that I am in.
As you most probably are aware screw compressors have both male and female screws - the female have concave inlets and the male convex inlets.
The rotary screw compressor is a form of gas compressor and is often used on building sites where there are trailer units powered by diesel for example.
There is also the oil flooded screw compressor and the oil-free compressor. The former is used in sealing and cooling gas charges and the latter is often used in semiconductor industries.
I would advise to always speak with a specialist from within this industry prior to making your purchase.
So how about where to buy these air compressors - where should one go? Well the answer today, well at least the answer that I would provide, has changed somewhat to what it would have been just a few years ago.
For me you can not go far wrong when buying online. To start with you are far more likely to obtain the most affordable prices online and you also have a cooling off period (if you are in the UK) where you are able to return the item for a full refund if it turns out to be the wrong product for your needs or if the product is not of the level of quality that you had expected.
